Monforts will be among a delegation of over 30 German companies taking part in a special VDMA Textile Machinery Conference and B2B-Forum, to be held on May 15th and 16th at the Hotel Leela in Mumbai, India.
The VDMA (Federation of German Machine Builders) organises the event in close co-operation with the VDMA India Office, important media partners and Indian textile associations such as CITI. The VDMA textile machinery and component manufacturers will hold 36 application-oriented presentations covering spinning, knitting, weaving, finishing, dyeing and embroidery. Other important cross topics, such as automation, digitalisation and Industry 4.0 smart production technologies will demonstrate how textile manufacturers can improve their competitiveness.
State-of-the-art technology will be presented in three sessions:
- Textile machinery and components for the fibre and yarn industry (May 15, 2018).
- Textile machinery and components for the technical textiles and nonwovens industry (May 15 & 16, 2018).
- Textile machinery and components for the apparel, home textile and carpet industry.
Jürgen Hanel, Head of Technical Textiles at Monforts will deliver a presentation on value-added textiles with advanced coating processes as part of the programme, on the Morning of May 16th.
